Do we love color? Yes we do! Isn't there something splendid about a prism?! We will be learning about the fracturing of light in a fun outdoor activity .Let's get out our ROY-G-BIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet) colors and attempt the challenging task of learning how to paint a rainbow, one that looks real as it is seen in nature. Kids will be working on landscapes and colorful animals like rainbow fish, chameleons, peacocks, iridescent beetle bugs, and fancy roosters. Colored pencils will be used, including shimmer colors, chalk pastels, paper quilling and paint. Let's add some of the most brilliant rainbow anime characters as well! Experimental practices will be utilized like beautiful ink applications. You will be impressed with our colorful art that will be presented in a Gallery Show following class on the final day! Taught by Artist/Instructor of The Artist's Apprentice. Ages 7 & up. (As always siblings of any age are welcome to register) $225 all materials included.
