Cartoon Happy Hopping Bunnies!

Independence ElementaryThese classes are so fun! Kids will be creating cheerful, cherub bunnies in the playful style of a contemporary Swedish artist. We will be utilizing neon paints and pastels on canvas and large scale paper. It's truly a joyful adventure that I hope your child will be able to join.Your young artist will have individual instruction, guiding them in composition and color choice to create a well executed body of work for our Gallery Show that will be offered to families on the final day of classes.Classes taught by artist/instructor Pamela Palmer, owner/entrepreneur of The Artist's Apprentice. Ages 7 & up. (As always siblings of any age are welcome!)Tuesdays 3:50 - 5:20 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27Â $65 plus $20 material fee payable to instructor on the 1st day of classes.

Be Smart. Add ART!

Friendship Park, 3380 Clarkston Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48362, USA Your choice! In this course the student and parent give input as to what the child would like to learn. The idea of the class is to add art into a child’s curriculum in order to balance and improve other areas of study.Children who engage in arts can develop important skills such as problem-solving, self-expression, and fine motor skills. As children learn to master new art techniques, they also boost their confidence and self-esteem.Many avenues may be explored in these classes, including clay, drawing, painting and manga (Japanese cartooning). No prior experience necessary. A Gallery Show will be extended to families following class on the final day. Classes taught by artist/instructor Pamela Palmer, owner/entrepreneur of The Artist's Apprentice. Ages 7 & up. (As always siblings of any age are welcome!)Thursdays 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29 $65 plus $20 material fee payable to instructor on the 1st day of classes.
